\u201cAutumn\u201d is made from a white semi-refractory clay body, hand-modeled and then coated with high-temperature glazes that, during firing, generate unpredictable and natural effects.<\/p>\n
The work interprets the invisible yet powerful force of wind: a breath that moves through nature, stirring leaves on an autumn day.<\/p>\n
The central structure, tall and curved, evokes the movement of wind through a C-shaped form. The exterior is glazed in white\u2014a white that represents air: transparent, luminous, ever-changing.<\/p>\n
Inside, two different glazes interact during firing: they mix, burst, and merge, creating a spontaneous and dynamic effect that evokes the energy of wind in motion.<\/p>\n
The leaves are small clay sheets, as thin as handkerchiefs, scattered across the composition and covered with a glaze ranging between gold, yellow, and brown, recalling the colors of autumn. They appear to fly, play, and let themselves be carried by the current.<\/p>\n
The square base supports the entire composition and represents the ground: thin clay strands imitate grass bending under the passage of wind. Here too, the green glaze reacts in the kiln, creating spontaneous chromatic variations, small burns, and visual vibrations.<\/p>\n
